2012 Managers/Supervisors Workshop

Join us for the seventh annual Managers and Supervisors Workshop at ACE 2012.  In addition to their day-to-day roles, health care documentation leaders are faced with addressing many challenges brought on by government regulations, industry standards, and technology advances in HIM and the health care industry.  The expertise of medical transcription organizations is more valuable than ever as organizations embrace trends such as defining accountable care, implementing ICD-10, interpreting meaningful use phases two and three, focusing attention on documentation integrity, and expanding data integration across systems. 

This workshop focuses on how managers and supervisors can contribute to their organization’s initiatives to improve patient safety, increase reimbursement, promote better clinical outcomes, lower risks, etc.  Attendees will participate in several interactive sessions throughout the morning that will explore the evolving role and contribution of medical transcription in health care organizations, as well as provide practical guidance on monitoring and maintaining productivity, quality, and staff satisfaction.
